On a somewhat smaller scale, the small N-facing slope of the undulation is a consistent nice Artemisia californica-Eriogonum fasciculatum stand. On a broader scale area is still Artemisia californica-Eriogonum but with a fair amount of Encelia farinosa on S-facing slopes of undulations & area has patchy shrub cover.
